The Man who said, “IT’S I”

A self-righteous but religiously pious man once came and knocked on the door of God.

“Who are you?”, said God. “It’s I”, the man answered.

There was silence and no response from God. That troubled man left and wandered away for a year, with pangs of discontentment and anger.

He met a mystic who insisted by saying, “forget about looking for God, it’s impossible, instead, serve people. In that service you shall find God.”

He ran a business, but previously he was ruthless and judgmental but now he started to be kind to people and the people loved him for his generosity and kindness; in that he found a new found joy. He found peace that he attained from serving people.

Then began his inner search for God and he was scourged and cooked in his love for God. He then gently knocked on the door again.

God responded, “Who is at the door?”

He answered, “You are, oh breaker and healer of my heart!”

And the door opened! ― Rumi

As human beings who is God for us?

1- Some of us consider God as A Divine Energy & A Universal Consciousness, who express, evolve, and experience through infinite forms. The fundamental vibratory state of all existence, Sustainment of the cosmos; source of all natural laws and phenomena. Everywhere and nowhere; present in every atom and the vastness of space, unbound by physical realms.

2- In monotheistic religions, God is typically conceived as The Supreme Being, The creator, and sustainer of the universe. As a personal entity with whom individuals can have a relationship, often through prayer, worship, and adherence to moral codes. He’s Omnipotent, All-powerful, capable of doing anything that is logically possible. Omniscient, All-knowing, possessing complete knowledge of everything past, present, and future. Omnibenevolent, All-good, perfectly moral and loving. Eternal, Existing without beginning or end, outside of time. Transcendent and Immanent, Often seen as both separate from and beyond the material universe, yet also involved in and present within it.
